Thank you for looking! I get many emails asking if I am still open and making lazy Susan turntables. The answer is yes! I live way out in the country on 10 acres, where my home, lazy Susan wood shop, staining shop, finishing shop and mail/boxing/shipping buildings are all located. It’s fenced and the drive way is a mile long. We get no visitors except for the mail man, garbage man, postwoman, and FedEx who all have their pick up areas up front outside the fence. What's the difference with the rustic style dark walnut reclaimed wood lazy Susan? The difference is our rustic reclaimed wood lazy Susan turntables are made from 2 inch stock and the top piece after sanding finishes out at over 1.5 inch thick wood! (the thickness of a 2 x 4). The one pictured is stained dark walnut, but you can choose any color stain you wish. These boards come from new, old, used, all 2x6" material headed for the landfill and saved by me to re-purpose the wood into a beautiful wood lazy Susan.

If you want to pick out your wood stock, please email me for examples and pictures of my wood stock available. Some are more weathered than others, but the ones I use will be solid, no rot, and no cracks other than superficial ones. Wood can have holes, and I can do distressing to blend in other distressed areas. I do work with my customers to choose the level of distressed wood for their Susan, no problem!

The bottom panel is 1/2" inch thick on the standard heavy duty style. The lower profile single panel style top panel is 1.5" thick. This is a solid piece that will last a lifetime, and as reclaimed wood... already has! If you want the low profile version just let us know in the special instruction area at checkout. We also make a lower profile version with the bearing with rubber feet that is less than .75 inches off your table. There is no additional charge for the low profile version.

If you are going to use it as a car stand, please order the 18 inch... LOL! I just wanted to make a point that this style is built very tough, and will hold up to 1000 pounds. Instead of edge gluing only, I use 2 inch oak dowels every 4-6 inches throughout the top piece plus Gorilla wood glue and man, it is stout!

Available painted, stained, or sanded unfinished, you decide. Our rustic style lazy Susan has a 3 inch profile. The bottom support is added to the heavy duty style making it more stable for heavier loads. Our 24 inch lazy Susan weighs in at 16 pounds and our 30 inch weighs in at 27 pounds, and the 36 and 40 inch up to 50 pounds, they are built to last!

NOTE: The 40 inch finishes out at around 39.35 inches after sanding. Since all of our wood lazy Susan turntables are hand made, the sizes may vary by 3 to 4 %. If you need an exact perfect size, let us know and we can get real close!

NO press board, MDF, or Formica but REAL wood, thick, strong, built to last, and finished to your liking. Our Susan hardware uses steel ball bearings and is rated to hold up to 1,000 pounds. We grease the bearings so that they operate quietly during turning.

If you are looking to match a certain color, stain, or rustic wood style, please let us know, we love doing this! Mail us a picture of your table and after you place your order we will prepare and mail you several stain samples to get a match!

If you select a stain or paint finish we will also add 6 coatings of polyurethane or polycrylic finish sealer to protect your surface and make cleaning a snap. If you have any special request or questions please ask a question and we will try to accommodate your request. Low VOC stains and sealers available on request.
